Baardseth, Timothy

Dr. Timothy Baardseth is a clinical health psychologist who is board certified in behavioral sleep medicine (DBSM). He received his PhD from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Counseling Psychology, completed an APA-accredited internship at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center and an APA-accredited post-doctoral fellowship in health psychology at Hines VA Hospital in Chicago. Prior to his doctoral training, he received a masters degree at University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelors degree at Luther College. He has also completed a mini-fellowship in behavioral sleep medicine at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine, and he completed post-graduate coursework and training in insomnia with the Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute at the University of Oxford. In addition to insomnia, he works extensively with cancer patients receiving oncology and palliative cancer care services. He continues to enjoy teaching graduate courses in behavioral sleep medicine, and he is a member of the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine.
